Today I had the Honor of presenting these Great Organizations with donations raised from the Knights of Columbus annual I.D. Drive (Intellectual Disabilities Drive/Tootsie Roll Drive) back in September of 2022.
Council 8473 of Christ the King Church Wonder Lake Illinois raised over $5770.00 by the dedication & hard work of our Brother Knights, Families, & Friends with over 100+ Volunteering Hours
Thank you to Laura Cook of GiGi’s Playhouse of McHenry, Randy Merowski of Main Stay Therapeutic Riding in Richmond, and Michael and Leah Fisher of Family Ideas Network of McHenry for taking time from their busy schedules to spend some time with us. An equal portion was donated to Rockford Special Olympics.

ights of Columbus is the world's largest international Catholic men's fraternal organization. Our knights exemplify the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. They are practicing Catholics who assist the Church community as well as the community at large through social and charitable activities to benefit young and old through their Annual Toostie Roll Drive, Breakfast with St. Nicholas, Breakfast with teh Easter Bunny, Lenten Simple Soup Suppers and wherever the Parish and Community express a need. -
